Why is it important? There is a lot of easy-to-access information available these days. In today's world, rote memorization is no longer key. Instead, kids need to be able to seek out information, piece facts together, draw conclusions, and continually reassess thier ideas as new facts emerge. By inquiring, kids are actively involved in learning.
